Chy An Gwedhen Bed & Breakfast - St Ives (Cornwall)

Excellent hotel with excellent wi-fi, free parking, and a tv. I remember when the staff helped me with my bags during my first stay. A lovely spot for breakfast-I'm coming back for Easter!

New-fashioned, neat unit with comfy bed, and lovely stuff. Location close enough to st ives/carbis bay, Saint Yves harbour along a coast path and Portmister and Porthmeor beaches. A huge variety of food options not too far from the venue.

Amiable staff, fantastic location a short walk from the beach. Easy to get around, walk from a bus stop.

Had an amazing stay at Chy An! The views from my Double Room with Sea View were amazing, and breakfast choices were deliciously varied. Pete and Heidi, the hosts, provided super helpful tips for exploring the area. Only downside was a bit of weak shower pressure. A fantastic experience!

The breakfast selection was superb, with fresh fruit salad and smoked salmon, made mornings special. My double room with a sea view was super tidy and provided amazing views that added to the overall charm of my stay. The hosts, Pete and Heidi, offered personalized local insights, made exploring the area even better.

Room was cozy with amazing views, but the bathroom was too small.

The room was so tiny, I had to put everything on the bathroom windowsill. I can't believe I paid for breakfast, extra! Definitley could've been included, woudl ve been nice to get some kind of welcome gift too. Almost gave a good review but sadly just couldn't, as I was treated like any other guest.

Our stay was quite enjoyable, especially with the lovely room and the innovative breakfast texting service that made ordering easy. I loved chilling by the sun terrace and the cozy garden area was perfect to unwind after exploring. The shower pressure could've been better, but it didn't take away from the great experience overall. 😊

We enjoyed a lovely clean room with fine sea views and a great breakfast selection that really started our day well! The friendly hosts, and the peaceful location was ideal for reaching St Ives.

The only downside was the limited space for toiletries in the bathroom, made things a bit tricky, but it was manageable.

Pete shared loads of tips about things to see nearby. The breakfast smelled amazing, but we missed it being out early. Just a heads up, the walk to St Ives took more time than we thought!
